High-cost areas include Alaska, many markets across the continental U.S. such as parts of California, Colorado, Virginia, and more. Jumbo loans through First Colony Mortgage are available with credit scores as low as 640. FHA and VA programs allow even lower scores in some cases. Dustin will walk you through the exact requirements for your price point and location.
It depends on the program — and there are more options than most people realize. Some programs allow as little as 0% down for eligible veterans (VA) and certain medical professionals.
